Summer Fun!

As I have mentioned before this summer has been filled with exciting new things in my house. We made a big move (twice) and have been busy settling into our new house and new community. The kids are now old enough to participate in activities - so we have been enjoying soccer and football (yes, my little girl is playing football ;) T-ball starts up soon.

We normally spend a lot of time up north as both my parents and my husband's parents have a lake place. This summer, we have only made one trip BUT it was the best weather and the lake was nice and calm! While we were up, I had a chance to take a few shots of my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. It was fun and he was a good sport.

I love the "sun-kissed" look to this shot and the emotion. This was almost entirely SOOC (straight out of camera) - I only added a little sharpening.

On the business front, I am working on a new blog and design. Check back soon for announcements!

My Big Kids

My babies are no longer babies - they are big kids. Today is their 4th birthday, and I can hardly believe it. Our weekend was filled with birthday activities, but now that we have time to sit and relax.... it's sinking in. Life has changed so much these past few years ~ in a good way!


It was also our first celebration in our new house and I have to pinch myself - we LOVE it! It is the first house (and this is number 3) that has truly felt like home.
